Problem: Deploy a WordPress site for Dawson Media, a book publisher. This site was complicated by a sudden need for a complete redesign on the eve of launching.

Solution: I was able to take a new design from concept to final client approval in the space of a few days. The design evokes feelings of books and publishing, with prominent calls to action on the home page.

WordPress is a platform that began as a blogging tool, and has grown to be a full-fledged content management system (CMS). In short, the folks at Dawson Media can log in and change text/image content without knowing a thing about the underlying HTML, CSS, or PHP. Custom WordPress sites are a specialty of Matt Weeden Design, LLC.
